Pathway to Possibilities Matching Gift Campaign Launches November 1

The Columbus Education Foundation is excited to launch the 2026 Pathway to Possibilities Matching Gift Campaign! Thanks to a generous $50,000 matching gift, every dollar you donate between November 1 and December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar—up to $50,000.

That means together, we can raise $100,000 for local students!

Your support will fund student scholarships to help Columbus High School graduates continue their education to pursue a career in healthcare, mental health, or a skilled trade. These fields represent both the aspirations of our students and critical needs within our community. 

Participation is open to everyone who believes in the potential of Columbus students. Whether through a personal contribution, a business gift, or sharing the campaign with others, community members can help the Foundation make the most of the matching opportunity.

Honor and Memorial Gifts 

"The Wellness Council has had an ongoing concern for the lack of services and the need for additional health and mental health providers for our county. Rural counties like Colorado County have a myriad of challenges in enticing these professionals to settle here. Our hope is through assisting in providing scholarships to graduating seniors who have a real interest in health and mental health careers, that some of these students will go on to become trained and licensed, and then return to work in their hometown. Our Site and programs are designed to support local public education.

Student scholarship application materials involving minors must be submitted by or with the explicit consent of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school administrator.

Any educational records received are held in confidence in accordance with applicable student privacy laws.
