The Columbus Education Foundation is happy to award more than $30,000 in scholarships to 2024 CHS graduates. The scholarships awarded will help students further their education in college or trade school.

CEF Participates in Career Fair

The Columbus Education Foundation participated in the Career Fair hosted by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce on January 17, 2024. Held at Columbus High School, the career fair encouraged students to learn more about different career options after graduation. CEF board members chatted with students in 9th through 12th grade about 2 and 4-year colleges

CEF Awards Classroom Grants to Local Teachers

The Columbus Education Foundation recently supported several local teachers via the Classroom Grant Program. Donated funds will be used to purchase classroom supplies and equipment to assist with student learning. 

$25,000 Gift from Hancher Family

CEF in the Community – Community Connections Day

On April 29, 2023, members of the Columbus Educational Foundation hosted a booth at Community Connections Day. Community members were invited to plant zinnia seeds to take home. With proper care, these seeds will grow and blossom, just like students in Columbus ISD! 

Logo Design Challenge Winner Announced

In April 2022 Columbus High School students were challenged to enter the CEF Logo Contest sponsored by the Columbus Education Foundation.
