Scholarship Spotlight

Unlocking Potential One Scholarship at at Time

Every scholarship awarded by the Columbus Education Foundation is more than a financial gift—it’s a vote of confidence, a door opened, and a future unlocked. This spotlight series shares the journeys of Columbus graduates who’ve received support through our scholarship program. You’ll meet students pursuing careers in healthcare, mental health, skilled trades, and beyond—each with a story shaped by resilience, ambition, and the power of community.

Whether they’re just beginning their college journey or already thriving on campus, these students represent the heart of Columbus: hardworking, hopeful, and ready to make a difference. Every story is a reminder of what’s possible when we invest in our youth—and every donation helps us do it again. when we invest in students, we unlock possibilities.

In October 2025, CEF launched the Pathway to Possibilities Matching Gift Campaign to raise $50,000 to fund scholarships for Columbus seniors. Thanks to a generous donor, that $50,000 will double to $100,0000, increasing our ability to support graduates pursuing careers in healthcare, mental health, and skilled trades. Every dollar donated helps us meet that goal and unlock more futures like theirs. We invite you to read, share, and support.

“The scholarship filled the gap, allowing me to enroll without taking on any loans and focus on my classes instead of extra shifts.”
